As we wrapped up and concluded our hard work last friday we were so glad to have made a difference. The forum, our project culmination went amazing and our group talked to many parents, teachers and honorary guests. We explained our project describing the problem we identified, our solution and the next steps in aiding the Coronary Artery Disease Community. Along with the forum we concluded CBL by collecting our final data analysis. We tallied our survey responses and received some amazing results. In response to our question, “Were you inspired to start gardening and eating healthier because of our presentation”, 86% percent of the 307 children surveyed said they were. After we asked the Children, “Do you now know sufficiently more than you used to about the affects of poor eating habits”, 93 percent of the 307 children exclaimed they did. And for our last question, “How many of you that don't already garden in your homes, will start to garden at your houses”, 80 percent of the children (subtracting the 23 that already gardened in their home said they would start gardening in their homes! With this amazing data and the positive feedback from the forum we were ecstatic our project was a success. As we wrap up our CBL journey we would like to thank all of the people who have helped us achieve our goals. We would also like to thank you all for staying with us along our CBL path. We hope to stay in contact, and remember it is up to you to make a difference. Help us end Coronary Artery Disease and save the millions that die every year.
